While I teach beekeeping in California, I live in St Paul, Minnesota. I have hives near Marine on St Croix and in Minneapolis.
One-on-One Inspecting of Your Hive(s)
I like teaching people one on one at their hive(s). I can tailoring my teaching to what you want to learn. Here are some examples of what I can teach:
- –How to use the tools to keep the bees calm
- –Identify what is in the hive (see eggs/larvae/queen)
- –Learn bee behavior – defensive vs calm
- –Diagnosing disease and health of the colony
- –Sugar roll test for varroa mites
- –Making a split/divide from your hive
- –How to prepare for winter/how much food to leave/etc.
